Amie Christofferson
Interview date: June of 1996
Amie is attending UVSC and plans on getting her college degree, get married and raise a family. She is employed with Scrooge and Marley's and her favorite color is pink. Her favorite movie is "That Thing You Do," her favorite season is "every single one," she doesn't have a favorite pair of shoes and her hero is her mom.
The best times of her life are "anytime, I live for the moment" and a bad time for Amie was when she tripped in the hall, twice, in ninth grade. Amie had a wonderful time on Heritage Tours and she can't recall her most irrational act. Her most embarrassing moment was when she tripped in the hall, twice, in ninth grade.
If Amie could change one thing about herself, she would be good at sports and she is better than anyone else when it comes to whistling. Three words to describe Amie are darling, kind, and happy. "And there's nothing greater in the whole wide world than a happy girl."
"If you want to be happy - be," Amie Webb.

Amie,
Will you do this interview for us? And tell us things like how you got proposed to on Christmas Eve - right?(I am starting to forget the story)and about Kleenex boy. You have a way with words that some stories can only be told by you. I recall thinking you were the cutest thing on this earth when you sang Rubber Ducky up the canyon or somewhere. You can say things like, "He melts my butter" (yes, I think she was talking about Brion when she said this) and sound so darling whereas I would sound like a fool. And I think Chad would agree that there is nothing better in the whole wide world than a happy girl (interesting that this is true, isn't it?) and you are the best happy girl I know!
Alisha, would you like to pick a book for November? Please? We are behind but that is okay. I don't think anybody cares. I don't want to miss your book recommendation and I bet you are reading something.
Far, far away in Idaho,
ShaLisa
I have to run to my journal to remember kleenex boy, I'll get back to you on that and the proposal. These will be a separate post. Love to all, talk to you soon.
YES! 180 W. 288 South Jerome, ID 83338 Yes! And I am just learning how to burn CD's and will make you one (but I have a feeling it will take me a while to compile). I still listen to the tape mixes I got from you, Amie, and Amy and Cami and Layne ALL THE TIME - everyday!
Let me explain something. I am sure it seems like I sit at my computer all day long. The thing is, I am taking a online class on AD/HD so I can keep my C's and come to the computer whenever I have ten minutes to read my text. Naturally, I check my email before and/or after my studies. Sometimes I can't help but to respond because I love my friends, I suppose.
Amie, I loved everything you said. So endearing. My feet got bigger too (and my mom said her did) so it happens and it is curious. The picture is AWESOME! You are AWESOME! Thanks for taking the time.
Thinking of Chocolate Covered Cinnamon Gummy Bears,
ShaLisa
Hello everybody! I know I have been missing in action for quite some time! My biggest excuse is that I am expecting and could barely survive for the first few months. You should have seen my house!! We are still trying to recover from a few very poor housekeeping weeks, oh well, such is life. And, to top it off, I haven't read any of the books for several months. My last library books I renewed as many times as they allow and then they were still 2 weeks late when I finally rounded them up and got them back, so I have a huge late fee and haven't yet gotten up the energy to make a library trip, much to my children's dismay. I have enjoyed your comments though and I have good intentions of reading them, they sound like fun reads. It has also been hard for me to think of a book since I am so far behind in my reading, but one that I have wanted to read for a while is called Fire in the Bones, by Michael Wilcox. Mark read it a while ago and liked it and I have been wanting to read it also, so there it is, my recommendation, finally. I still don't know how to post things on the blog, so if someone wants to do that for me I would greatly appreciate it. Someday I will figure out this blogging stuff, but probably not this day. I am so glad to hear from each of you through this blog though, so please forgive me for not responding for so long. So, Daniel is now trying to help me, so I will run again. I will try to be a more active participant from now on... Love you all, Your long, lost friend, Alisha
alisha, it is good to hear from you! I can't wait to read the book --it looks good and mylibrary has it. Now, if I can just get there!
Cami! On a checkbook search I found another of your tapes! I forgot about "Sassy Girl!" How could I forget? How fun. I love all that old music!
Does anyone know Mindy Stevens food blog address? She has a lentil taco recipe I'm dying to try but I can't find her again!
Loving lentils,
Lindsay
Lindsay, I think it is mindysfood.blogspot.com Tell me if it doesn't work. I can't remember her family blog but it made me feel small so I don't miss reading hers much.
Alisha, CONGRATULATIONS! I am very excited for your expectant knews. You are a wonderful mother and one of few who I think could magnanimously raise 14 children if you wanted. I am not up to the tasks of motherhood so I am reminded everyday.
Sadly, my library does not have the book you suggested, Alisha, but I may look for it on Amazon. I read about it on Goodreads and besides the nonmormons who don't like the mormon comparrisons, it received raving reviews. It sounds like a book that will teach me a lot!
Amie, did you read (or are you reading) "These is my Words"? I am curious as to another persons take on that book.
Cami, I love Sassy Girl too, as well as Ranger Rock. My girls and I dance every morning. My CD players break SO EASILY that we listen to my tapes from all of you. I love them dearly!
Craving Chocolate Licorice (unusual even for me),
ShaLisa
Oh yes. PLEASE RESPOND IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING TO SAY ON THIS SUBJECT!!! I have bought several radios over the last year - CD players and they do not last. A cute white one skipped my CD's the first time I used it - argh. I returned two others since then. I kept one I thought might work well but three months later it is skipping a lot and agrivating me. I also bought a CD player that attaches beneath a kitchen cupboard and 9 months later that won't recognize a CD inside either - it tells me it is empty! What is a good brand? I want one that will play CDs with tiny scratches - is that possible? I want one that doesn't ignore the CDs I put inside. I like to have audiobooks all the time so that mopping the floor is a little more easy to swallow - I have to do it so much because my children have got to be the messiest eaters in the world. Of course, initially I bought the cheapest I could find ($20 - $25 and yes, I think if they are selling it as a CD player it should play CD well no matter how cheap it is) and I have increased my price limit thinking that would make the difference, but it hasn't. What kinds of players do you ALL have and are they good ones that have withstood the test of time? With Christmas around the corner I really need to be able to play all the marvelous Christmas CDs Amy has given me over the years!!!!
Still Very Fond of Fruit Rollups,
ShaLisa
I just got the book and have to admit I am feeling hesitant about reading it since it sounds like it is so sad! I liked your review shaLisa and I will be brave and open it up tonight. I like to read about brave, strong women and it sounds like these is my words is one of those... I'll check in soon...
