Yeah, a book pick. I am going to see if my library has it right now. Amie, how are you? It has been a long time since I have heard about you.

I finshed the book yesterday. I won't say much about it so as to not spoil it, but THANK YOU, Amie. It was a fabulous read. I am eager to hear what everyone else has to say about this book.

Thirsty (that is bad, I shouldn't wait so long to drink water that I actually have to feel thirsty first!),

Lindsay, I think that is the best news I've heard in quite awhile! Congrats! When in May? Do you have a name for the baby picked out yet?

Congrats!!!

Lindsay, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Sugar and spice and everything nice - that is what little girls are made of. You already know that. A baby - how grand!

I Captured the Castle, a book with so many elements. Yes? I liked that the book was a diary - a single perspective and from a girl coming of age. I loved that she found joy even within extreme poverty. Unlike her sister, the poverty caused her to be greatful for the natural pleasures, the god-given blessings such as spring and fresh water. I don't understand why she or her sister couldn't work - a pride and prejudice sign of the times that I don't appreciate in that book either. Why not?

I have to continue this later. Interrupted!

It's a BOY!!! I am thrilled. I am now due Aug. 7 (but my original due date is Aug. 18 and that makes more sense to me). Tie Breaker is in - boys win! :)
