The Importance of Being Earnest

I apologize for being late in my selection, however, given the rate we are reading the selected books, I am not feeling too bad. I am choosing Oscar Wilde's book titled, "The Importance of Being Earnest." This book is also a movie (a new version with Reese Spoon-something as well as an old version). My memory for movies is poor and I don't remember the movie well, but I do remember liking this movie a lot - especially the piano part. When I discovered it was a book, I was thrilled and when I discovered it was by Wilde, I no longer questioned my decision to choose this book for book club. Wilde, although not a character to esteem, instead I find him rather repulsive, but his books are much quoted in other great literature - especially his short stories. I have read and remembered the Picture of Dorian Gray, also by Wilde. His writing is good. I believe this story will be a fun having seen and liked the movie (which I scarcely remember).

Will someone please help me and put a picture of my book on this post and then tell me how you did it?

I went to Barnes and Noble.com, found the book, highlighted the picture, left clicked and pushed save as (and for me paying attention to where it is saved is key!)then you place an image on your post browsing to find it (I think you know how to do this, right?)

I hope to read this or any book club book selection again someday!

The Importance of Being Earnest is a play, short and witty. I very much enjoyed it and I wanted to pass along my vote of confidence just in case I might inspire you to read it. And then watch the movie.

Oh, I almost forgot to say that I got a call from the library today and my copy of Rebecca is finally here. Horray.

Thank you, Lindsay, for teaching me to post pictures from the web. I have been doing it wrong all along.
